We compared Mongolia’s representative three-line poem, “The Three in the World (Ертөнцийн гурав)” and Japanese Haiku, in terms of their structure and system, and the culture and thought of the two nations who created them. Through these comparative examinations, we clarified the similarities and differences between “The Three in the World” and Haiku.
