Electro-reductive homo-coupling of aryl bromides in a double mediatory system involving catalytic amounts of PdCl2(PPh3)(2) and N-alkyl-4-alkoxycarbonylpyridiniunn salts was performed successfully to afford the corresponding biaryls in good to moderate yields.
