亀田 壽夫 (Kameda, Hisao) 1942年生．1965年東京大学理学部物理学科卒業．1970年同大学院理学系研究科博士課程修了．理学博士．
1970年東京大学理学部助手．1971年電気通信大学講師．1973年同大学助教授，1985年同教授を経て，1992年筑波大学電子・情報工学系教授，2004年同大学院システム情報工学研究科教授. 2006年筑波大学名誉教授. この間,1973～74年IBM ワトソン研究所，1974～75年トロント大学において研究に従事．
コンピュータのオペレーティングシステム，分散/並列処理，システム性能評価，等の研究教育を行ってきた．コンピュータシステムをシステム一般の視野から追究することに関心を持ち続けている．
情報処理学会会誌・欧文誌・研究論文誌編集委員，同学会ＯＳ研究会・システム評価研究グループ主査，日本ＯＲ学会評議員・待ち行列研究部会主査，IFIP(TC7)委員，等を歴任．
