In this paper, the background and history of constituting "energy conversion", which is a learning area, were described. The problems of curriculum organization was pointed out. For examples, the school hour of the technical education was reduced by "yutori" education and the international convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. As a result, the constitution of energy conversion was unreasonable. To improve "energy conversion", a newteaching material was proposed from a view-point of mechanical engineering.
