Profile

Impact energy absorber of structural member/Crush deformation of various structures is investigated. Experiments under dynamic conditions are performed using drop weight. Finite element computation is also conducted./Joining of sheet metal at edges/A novel method for joining of sheet edges was investigated. It makes use of the sheared faces under high-speed. For joining, the sheared faces are contacted each other with sliding motion immediately after shearing./Strain and strain-rate effect of materials/Effect of strain and strain-rate history on yield stress is inspected using split Hopkinson pressurebar impact testing apparatus.
