澱粉ベースの生分解性樹脂と高強度マオ繊維とを組み合わせたランダム短繊維強化グリーンコンポジットを試作し,その引張強度と試料作製条件であるホットプレス温度との関係,ならびに引張強度に及ぼす繊維長さの関係を調査した.その結果,最適ホットプレス温度は140℃であること,引張強度は繊維長が長くなるにつれて増加し,繊維長10mm以上では飽和すること,ならびに理論強度との比較から,試作材の引張強度は理論強度の約半分であり,繊維のアスペクト比が小さい場合には繊維強化は発現しないことを明らかにした.

本講演論文は,竹繊維で強化されたグリーンコンポジットの断熱特性と機械的強度特性について述べている.ポリ乳酸をグリーンコンポジットのマトリクス樹脂として使用した.成形条件を変化させて竹繊維グリーンコンポジットをホットプレス成形で作製し,熱伝導率と曲げ強度特性に及ぼす密度の影響を調査した.熱伝導率と曲げ強度は密度の増加につれて増大すること,グリーンコンポジットの熱伝導率はRussellの式で予測可能であること,ならびに従来材であるGFRP,CFRPよりも断熱性に優れることなどを明らかにした.

熱線法および定常方を用い,生分解性樹脂ポリビニールアルコールを用いた竹繊維グリーンコンポジットの熱伝導率測定を行った.得られた結果から,竹繊維グリーンコンポジットの熱伝導率は材質の密度や空隙率に大きく依存することがわかった.熱線法による測定では測定プローブが接触する表面の熱伝導率に影響を受るため,結果として面平均(二次元方向)熱伝導率を測定可能である.一方,定常法では高低温面間の一次元方向の熱伝導率を測定可能であるため,測定方法によるみかけの熱伝導率が異なって現れる.得られた結果は今後の竹...

本国際会議論文は,竹粉に対する有効なリサイクル技術の新規開発を目指し,鋸屑として排出された竹粉とデンプンベースの生分解性樹脂を複合化して完全生分解性を有するパーティクルボードの開発を行った.そして直径0.5mmの竹粉を用いて作製したパーティクルボードは実用材料として許容できるレベルの曲げ強度と曲げ弾性率を有することを見出した.加えて,竹粉に対するアルカリ処理は,竹粉パーティクルボードの機械的性質に影響を及ぼし,約20%向上した曲げ強度を有するようになることを明らかにした.

本論文では,爆砕法により抽出した竹繊維を一方向に配置して様々な条件でホットプレス成形して得られるレジンレス一方向竹複合材料の強度特性と成形条件の関係について検討した.60℃以下の低温での成形条件を除き,成形した複合材料の強度と破断伸びは成形温度の上昇につれて増大することを明らかにした.

本論文は,種々の温度で時効を施されたAl-Li-Cu-Mg-Zr合金(8090合金)の引張試験中に発生するAEと内部微視組織との関係を検討した結果,降伏点付近で発生するAE平均値電圧は,準安定δ'相の平均粒径が12nmである亜時効状態で最大値を示し,このときのAEは準安定δ'相のせん断の他に,溶質原子による影響も含まれていることを明らかにした.

本論文は,Cu-Al-Ni形状記憶合金単結晶の曲げ疲労中のクラックの発生と進展を調べており,微小クラックの発生前にマルテンサイト相の晶壁面に沿って縞模様が観察され,これは,表面の凹凸を生じており,マルテンサイト相と母相との間に生ずる界面転位の集積によるものと考えられ,この縞模様の交点が微視クラックの起点になることが示され,結晶学的には,マルテンサイト相の{100}に沿って成長し,へき開クラックを伴って最終破断に至ることを明らかにしている.

本論文は,Ni-NiO共晶合金のその場複合材料の引張試験を行い,耐力は分散強化試料より1.2倍高い値を示したが,破断伸びが改善されないことは,NiO繊維の強度がそれほど高くないことを示しており,その複合材料の破断はひずみ9%以下で生じており,また,この複合材料の残留応力は,およそ20MPaと推定されることを明らかにしている.

本論文は,不整定のあるレール上を走行する鉄道車両のバウンスモード・ロールモード・ピッチモードにおける不規則振動を解析するために,情報量規範としてAICを用いた修正GMDH法を適用してこれら3モードの非線形振動モデルを作成している.シミュレーションの結果,予測精度,モデル構造の単純性ならびに計算ロードの観点で,AIC規範が,従来の規範であるPSS,RSSよりも優位であること,ならびに,鉄道車両振動各モードの振動には弱い非線形性を有することを明らかにした.

本解説は,農林水産技術研究ジャーナルの特集記事「木・竹利用技術の最先端」に寄稿したものである.爆砕処理により取り出した竹繊維を高温高圧でホットプレス成形することにより,竹が部分的に樹脂化してプラスチック素材のように成形加工することが可能になる.この成形体の強度特性は,成形温度と成形圧力に強く依存し,温度に関しては高すぎても低すぎても成形体の強度は低下し,約120℃が最適成形温度となる.圧力に関しては,高いほど成形体の強度が高くなる傾向があることを示した.

本解説は,ベアリング製造工程で大量に発生する研削加工屑に対するリサイクル技術開発の一例として,加工屑の固化成形技術について概説している.その結果,HIP処理した材料はさらに緻密化が行われ,このHIP処理材は被削材と同程度の硬度を有すること,従来の冷間等方圧成型と真空焼結を組み合わせた固化方法では緻密かつ高強度の材料を得ることは難しいこと,そして,銅粉末の添加によって焼結体の緻密化が促進することについて述べている.
