I have investigated diamond-like carbon (DLC) films with excellent properties such as extreme hardness, low friction, wide optical transparency, and chemical inertness. I am presently working on the fabrication of the DLC films for the chemical and biomedical applications such as anti-corrosion coatings.
DLC films are fabricated by chemical vapor deposition technique for electrical, mechanical and biomedical applications on several kinds of polymeric materials.
