This review deals with the photochemistry of the title compounds including photocatalytic modification of alkenes, dienes and polyenes through a choice of the literature published during the period January 2018 – December 2019. This chapter also covers the nanotechnology and supramolecular chemistry utilizing isomerization/electrocyclization/cycloaddition reactions.
