The effect of the taper angle of the meter tube on the pulsation error of area-type flowmeter is examined theoretically. For some caces of the taper angle the pulsation errors are calculated on the basis of equation of motion taking into the factor of taper angle of meter tube. It is found that the pulsation error which are produced in the intermediate zone of pulsation frequency (0.2<λ<20) are influenced mainly by the taper angle of the meter tube.
