流域環境の質と環境意識の関係を解明する目的で、2002年より研究プロジェクトを始めた。本研究の対象は北海道北部に位置する朱鞠内湖とした。当湖は、発電を目的としたダム湖であり、その集水域の大部分は演習林であり、人為活動も少ない事から、完成後の水質環境はこれまで大きく変化していないと考えられる。また、その運用目的から湖内が調査された事例は少ない。 2002年に年4回の水質調査を行なったところ、夏期に次のような特徴的な結果を得た。湖水中の栄養塩は枯渇する傾向であった。クロロフィル-a濃度は、湖内...
