My Ph.D thesis was about the interior-point method for linear programming. When I was awarded Ph.D, semidefinite programming was being popular, and I was interested in it. Then I studied the interior-point method for a linear programming over symmetric cones, which includes semidefinite programming problems as a special case. Semidefinite programming, second-order cone programming, and linear programming over symmetric cones are my current research topics.
