In Schellings later philosophy, what is called the positive philosophy, experience plays a more important role than reason, because the former is related to reality, which the latter cannnot reach. Schelling's positive philosophy consists of two parts, the philosophy of mythology and revelation. Jesus Christ works as natural potencies in mythology and as personality in revelation. In positive philosophy, the personality of Christ is most important, because he is a mediator between two religions, and he changes the traditional view of matter and death. The New Testament is a document of this greatest human experience.
