微生物誘起腐食(MIC)が水環境下での構造材について問題となってきている。MICの防止・抑制には原因となるバイオフィルム生成の抑制が必要であり、そのためには浮遊細菌の金属材料上への付着を抑制する必要がある。従来、MICの防止・抑制の指標として、主に材料の「抗菌性」が用いられてきたが、「抗菌性」と「バイオフィルム生成能」が一致しないケースが存在することがわかってきた。その理由の一つには「抗菌性」と「浮遊細菌の付着性」が一致しない場合があるためと考えられる。そこで、各種材料表面への浮遊細菌の付...
