This study examined the effect of Korean TV drama viewing on changing the attitude of Japanese viewers for Korea and Koreans and clarified the factors that caused the attitudinal changes on the part of the drama viewers. On the whole, the study indicated the strong effect of the empathic viewing of the drama for changing the viewers' attitude toward pro-Korean.<br />
