近年、メーカー2社より、通気性・吸汗性繊維を使用することにより、これまでの問題点を改善した作業服が開発された。これらの作業販は、メーカーによる屋内実験が行われ、着用時の衣部内の温度、湿度、表面温度(体温)はいずれも低めであったという結果が出ているが、屋外での実地調査は行われていない。そこで本研究では実際の森林作業で新しく開発された作業服を着用し、従来の作業服と衣服内環境を比較検討することにより、その有効性を検証した。
