My research is focused on the understanding and development of pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of renal disorders through secretory signals, renal hemodynamics and nutrition. I have been particularly interested in renoprotective role of natriuretic peptides and behaviors of urinary and blood NGAL (or LCN2) in acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.

My interest is also expanded to epidemiology, new clinical therapy and healthy longevity. 

Hemodyalysis is a very often and carefully prepared disorder in Japan. I am interested in focussing mager advance in dialysis and predict near future progress and changes in the field.
