<p>磁気粘性流体(MRF)は磁場を印加するとすばやく粘性が変化するため、トルク伝達装置に利用されている.磁性粉の粒度分布の分散を小さくすれば伝達トルクを向上できることが数値解析により示されているが、実験的には示されていない.粒度分布が伝達トルクに与える影響を明らかにするために、スケールモデルにより可視化し実験を行う.また、実験に対応した磁場解析を行うことで磁性粉同士の磁気的な相互作用を調べる.</p>
