Compactly Supported Sampling functions for Signal Space Composed of Piecewise Polynomials of Arbitrary Degree

Sampling functions are usually used for reconstructing signals. However, there remains a problem that truncation is still needed. This paper proposes compactly supported sampling functions which do not require truncation. The compactly supported sampling functions, which are composed of piecewise polynomials of degree m, converge on 0 at m-th sampling point with respect to the center of the function. Moreover, they can immediately reconstruct signals keeping the smoothness.
