The fishing line was modeled by a multiple rigid-body link model. This model can reproduce line behaviors below the water surface. Three layouts of sub-sinkers are first examined. The free layout without the sub-sinkers yields as good responses as the other two layouts with the sub-sinkers. The float vertical response is not affected by float mass nor sinker masses, although oscillation periods become longer for a larger mass. The visibility is improved significantly by a rotational response, provided that the float is tilted by the drag force from the angler.
