マイクロ・ナノスケールの流れ場解析では、気体を連続体として扱うことができないため分子スケールでの計測が必要となる。感圧塗料による圧力計測法は分子間の相互作用を利用しているので、原理的にマイクロ・ナノスケールの流れ場解析に適用可能である。しかし、膜厚や表面粗さが大きく、プローブとなる色素分子の凝集による空間分解能の低下といった問題があり、感圧塗料をマイクロ流れに適用することは困難である。これらの問題を解決するために、LB法による単分子膜作製法を採用しnmオーダーの膜厚を持つ感圧分子膜を開発した。

容器内で高速回転する円盤においては、高速回転により円盤振動が生じ、円盤が安定して回転しないという問題がある。円盤の安定な高速回転を可能にするためには、円盤表面の圧力分布を解析し、円盤振動の現象を解明する必要があるが、これまで直接的に円盤表面の連続的な圧力分布を計測し解析を行った例は報告されていない。そこで本研究では、高速回転時における流体力学的な挙動を明らかにするため、感圧塗料を用いて回転円盤表面の圧力分布を計測する。また、その結果得られた円盤の内周部と外周部との圧力差について考察を行う。
