講義の際に板書される文字を,効率よく記録するためには,文字が書かれるまでは黒板全体を観察し,新しく文字が書かれたときに,その文字だけを記録する必要がある.そのためには,黒板に文字が書かれる状況を実時間で把握し,かつ,必要に応じて記録したい部分に視点を移さなければならない.そこで本稿では,パン,チルト,ズームの制御が可能な首振りカメラを使って,板書された文字(以下「板書文字」という)を画像データとして自動的に記録するシステムを提案する.
