Zero-bias conductance anomaly in graphene dots

© 2017 The Japan Society of Applied Physics. We report the Kondo effect in graphene quantum dots. We fabricated graphene quantum dots using CVD graphene. We measured the graphene quantum dots at 20mK in a dilution refrigerator. We detected a zero-bias conductance peak in the Coulomb blockade regime. The zero-bias conductance peak was suppressed under magnetic fields, which indicates the Kondo effect. We evaluated the Kondo temperatures of 4.8K from the zero-bias peak and 3.2K from the tunnel coupling and the charging energy.
