The angular momentum compensation temperature, T , in transition metal rare earth (TM-RE) ferrimagnetic materials is a crucial property for utilizing antiferromagnetic spin dynamics, which is much faster than its ferromagnetic counterpart. However, reports on the estimation of T in ferrimagnets are limited. In this study, we measured the temperature dependence of the spin magnetization and orbital magnetization of GdFe amorphous perpendicular magnetization film by using magnetic Compton scattering.
