Transport properties in microstructured multilayers

We report the first measurements of Hall effect on non-coupled type multilayers with V-groove microstructure for current-at-an-angle-to-plane (CAP) geometry. The field dependence of extraordinary Hall resistivity (rho(H)(M)) shows a clear difference between CAP and current-in-plane (CIP) geometries at low fields. In contrast, rho(H)(M)s at saturation field are almost same despite the large difference in the resistivity (rho) between two the geometries. We also report results on Fe/Cr(110) superlattices with facet microstructure for comparison.
