I am studying topics about the multi-hierarchy simulation of magnetic confinement fusion or other plasmas phenomena. In plasmas, we find the microscopic phenomena by particle motions, etc., and the macroscopic (hydrodynamic) phenomena as collective behavior. In order to understand complex processes in plasma phenomena, we have to investigate dynamics between microscopic and macroscopic hierarchies. Multi-Hierarchy Simulation is one of the methods for the investigation. Particularly, I now study multi-hierarchy dynamics on non-diffusive radial plasma transport (called blob and hole) and detached plasmas in fusion boundary layer plasmas. Furthermore, I promote cross-disciplinary studies through the simulation science.
