I am working mainly in mathematical logic and set theory. My recent work has to do with reflection principles and the Continuum Problem. Some of my papers also deal with applications of set theory in topology, algebra and analysis. I also have written several articles discussing the philosophy or history of mathematics. Most of these philosophical articles are written in Japanese but there is one paper in 2012 on mathematical platonism and another in 2017 discussing the significance of the Fodor-type Reflection Principle in terms of a generalization of the reverse-mathematical point of view both written in English.
