シロイヌナズナ（アラビドプシス）の突然変異体を用いて、植物の器官発生および形態形成の機構と環境刺激に応答した成長パターン変化のシグナル伝達機構、を分子レベルで解析している。花芽形成過程に関わるFIL遺伝子の単離解析雌しべ形成に関わる遺伝子の解析花器官原基の配置と成長に関わる突然変異体の解析花粉形成と葯の裂開に関わる遺伝子の解析雌性配偶体形成に関わる突然変異体の解析花序の形態に関わるzinc-fingerタンパク質の機能解析根毛形成細胞の分化機構の解析刺激応答による根毛の形態変化制御機・・・
