<p>CISおよびCIGS太陽電池の特性を評価するために、透過分析電子顕微鏡による電池材料の構造、化学状態の評価を行った。CISおよびCIS太陽電池について、断面試料を作製し、粒界や積層欠陥構造を評価した結果を報告する。また、エネルギー分散X線分光や電子損失エネルギー分光合わせて、元素分布状態と構造、特性の相関を議論した結果を報告する。</p>

<p>我々は平面波基底の密度半関数計算(PAW-GGA)において、エネルギー密度・応力密度の計算に基づく局所エネルギー、局所応力の計算法開発を行っている。今回、局所エネルギー等の物理的な意味について、Green関数(KKR)法やLCAO法、TB法での類似した試みや、さらにワニエ関数表現等との比較を行うことで、掘り下げて検討した。さらに、金属中の積層欠陥や粒界での応用例を紹介し、局所エネルギー、局所応力が、どのような意味、有用性を持つかを議論する。</p>
