Development of photoluminescence glasses and glass-ceramics

For mainly silicate glass system, high photo luminescent materials are prepared through phase separation and/or crystallization process and their properties are studied.
Development of high magnetic functional glass-ceramics

For mainly iron oxide-silicate glass system, high magnetic and electro conductive materials are prepared through phase separation and/or crystallization process and their properties are studied.
Development of colored glasses with selective light transmittance

For mainly silicate glass system, colored glasses with selective light transmittance are prepared and their properties are studied.
Development of composite glass materials with photocatalytic and molecular absorption properties

Silicate glass fibers are combined with titania photocatalyst and zeolite having molecular absorption properties and their properties are studied.
Photocatalytic micro machining of carbonaceous and metalic materials by using porous titania wire
Project Year: 2002 - 2012
Porous titania fibers are prepared by using phase separation and melt-quenching processes and the photocatalytic micro machining properties for carbonaceous materials such as organic polymers, SAM or DLC and metalic ones are studied.
