Based on the deterioration state and management system of the infrastructure in Japan, JSCE, as a third party institution, has also decided to assess the soundness of the current infrastructure. This paper describes the discussion that JSCE independently assesses the health status of the road tunnels and its management system using inspection data of the road tunnels.
