I studied regional development, local public finance, the Brazilian economy as graduate school student at Osaka City University between 1987 and 1993. I joined YNU in March of 1993, starting to take care of the course "Developing Economies" and other related subjects both at the undergraduate level and the graduate (Master and Doctor) levels. The current research focuses are housing finance of Brazil, anti-corruption policy (integrity system) of Brazil and Latin American economies in general.
