Dr. Wanglin YAN is a professor, Faculty of Environmental Information Studies, Keio University, Japan. He graduated at Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping in 1982 with bachelor degree of Engineering. He received his Master Degree in 1989 and Doctor Degree in 1992 at the Department of Civil Engineering, the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. His research fields include Geo-informatics for urban and regional environment, and planning for sustainable development, climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, Urbanisation and food-energy-water nexus etc.
