SP/PS correspondence: Theorem (SP/PS correspondence) For our accretion model, for any stationary and axially symmetric physical transonic accretion flow of radiation fluid, its sonic point is located at (one of) the unstable photon sphere(s). Discussions The physical reason? In other cases? e.g. spacetime of different symmetries (in progress).
