Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is an important enzyme to regulate cellular methylation reaction. MTHFR was found to be a phospho-protein, whose modification is essential for regulation of enzyme acitity. The on-going study is identification of the protein kinase(s).
