超音波を用いてCT-VFAと高い相関を示すVFA推定法の開発を行った。本手法では腹部エコー時に1枚静止画撮像を追加することで、VFAを推定し、ウエスト周囲径の計測では見逃されていた内臓脂肪型肥満を拾い上げることができた。また、健診データ解析の結果から、VFAは、加齢に伴い内臓脂肪が蓄積しやすくなることが確認できた。さらに、BMIごとの解析では、BMIが正常範囲内であってもVFA≧100cm2の症例が多く確認された。以上から超音波を使った簡便で安全なVFA計測は生活習慣病の予防につながると考...
