Researched various Texts/Articles/Magazines about Art, Literature, Aesthetics and Political Theory in the first third of the 20th Century in Germany, esp. Berlin, which led to my Master´s Thesis.
Also did some reasearch about film and literature during Nazi Germany, postwar Germany ("Heimatfilm"), Fassbinder, "Kultbücher" (novel with a cult-like following), "Wende-Literatur" (German literature in the era of the re-unification). Since coming to Japan worked mostly on teaching methods/applied linguistics (e-learning/blended learning methods, new approaches to grammar teaching, task based language teaching). Recently focussing on oral testing as well as the integration of (inter-)cultural studies and language teaching.
