林田 祐樹

Yuki Hayashida received a Doctoral degree in Information Engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT), Fukuoka, Japan, in 1998. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with KIT from 1999 to 2000 and a Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of California at Davis, CA, USA, from 2001 to 2003. He was an Associate Professor with the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan, from 2004 to 2010, and then with the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, from 2011 to 2019. He was an Invited Professor with the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University, from 2020 to 2021. He is currently a Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering, Mie University, Mie, Japan, since 2020. His research interests include physiological and engineering studies on biological visual systems, retinal and intracortical neural prostheses, and nanomaterial-based neural electrodes.
