  • "PR Your 'Peace' through Fieldwork" is a workshop style class conducted as a part of the "Peace Internship" program by Hiroshima Peace Institute, Hiroshima City University. Students created 1-minute movie about "Peace" reflecting their own perspective. Video-shooting and editing were done by their smartphones. A screening of 8 movies welcomed local audience, came alive with questions and comments. 【Role: Planning, Facilitation】
  • "Message Relay" workshop utilized mobile phone movie. Participants were asked to answer a question from previous participant about their "mobile" item. Because the answer was always required to end with an another question, the messages were relaid endlessly. Visualization of the connected message trail was designed on the web and the projected screen on-site. Implemented in Linz, Austria.【Role: Planning, Managing, Facilitation and Analysis】
  • Storytelling project utilizing "Photo-Senryu (short poem which is often satirical of the time)" on the image of Toyama prefecture. Working closely with Tulip TV (in Toyama prefecture, Japan News Network), sharing and distributing platform was designed by broadcasting, website, workshops at Toyama University, community centers, and museums.【Role: Planning, Managing, and Facilitation】
  • “A-I-U-E-O Gabun” is a photo and wordplay activity inspired by the tradition of Japanese word game forms. It was moreover a simple storytelling project aimed to encourage sustainable local communication and community building in central area of Tokyo where local network and tie have diminished. While facilitating regular workshops, it also aimed both 1)designing a cross-media platform to enhance expressions generated in the workshops, and 2)building collaborative relationship to support sustainable activities principally by university, municipality, local media and social entrepreneurs. 【Role: Planing, Managing, Facilitation and Analysis】
  • Graduate students' design research project engaged with different communities in London. Under the theme "how digital technology can create trust and altruism", five teams from RCA (Royal College of Art) Information Experience Design, Service Design and Visual Communication explored the challenges, and created design ideas. 【Role: Tutor, Coordination Support】
  • A half-day workshop on making movies with smartphones. Participants made 2-minute video on the theme of "UTokyo as my hometown" using only smartphones for the entire process, including planning, video shooting, editing and posting. It was an collaborative event for celebrating "All Night Nippon" 50th anniversary, one of the longest-running radio talk programs by Nippon Broadcasting System, Inc. 【Role: Planning and Managing, Facilitation】
