Profile

Cláudio Kendi Morikawa completed his graduate studies at São Paulo State University-Brazil,and in 1993, he completed his Master of Science studies at Federal University of Lavras-Brazil.ln 2003,he receive his PhD. in Environmental Bioremediation at the Tohoku University-Japan. From 2005 to 2007,he did his Postdoctoral research studies at University of Tokyo-Japan. His research interests are in the green catalysis, human nutrition, plant protection and soil science and plant nutrition.He has more than 20 scientific and professional publications and five patents,and more than 20 oral poster presentations at international conferences presenting his scientific works. Since 2008,he has been a researcher at the National Agriculture amd Food Research Organization, National Institute of Vegetable and Floriculture Science-Japan.

グリホサート系除草剤とグリホサート耐性遺伝子組換えダイズを組み合わせた栽培体系で,慣行のダイズ栽培では難しいとされる狭畦栽培を行った。その結果,コントロールと比較して約1.5倍の収量の増加と作業体系の簡略化が実現できた。また遺伝子組換えダイズの土壌微生物相への影響を希釈培養法で検査した結果,細菌など,糸状菌,放線菌数において,非遺伝子組換えダイズのタンレイと有意な一定の差は認められなかった。
