The dynamics of Chinese in Southeast Asia under the Cold War and in the Post-Cold War Era

My main research object is Chinese in Southeast Asia. I am conducting research on the process of politicalization of Chinese in relation with the Communist China in the domestic context and in the international relations under the Cold War, and the process of Chinese’s networking over many areas, using various kinds of ties after the Chinese economic reform in the late 1970s and the end of the Cold War.
