[概要] ボランティアへの関心が高まってきている. スポーツを通じた国際貢献では, 青年海外協力隊スポーツ隊員の活動が期待されている. 本稿では, JICAスポーツ隊員が現在どのように活躍し, それが国際貢献にどう寄与しているのか, そして青年海外協力隊のボランティア体験が帰国後どのように役立っているのかを明らかにする. [Abstract] The interest in volunteering has been increasing for the past several years. Within the area of international sports volunteerism, the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCVs) have participated in volunteer activities all over the world. The purpose of this paper is to examine the current sports activities of JOCVs, how they contribute internationally and how their volunteer experiences have helped them after they return to Japan.
