◆主なフィールド記録： ＊1989年 アマゾン川 1,500kmをカヌーで下る ＊1991年 ソ連極東地方をスキーで旅。ベーリング海峡を渡ってアメリカへ ＊1991年 ソ連空軍の救助演習に参加して、北極点へパラシュート降下 ＊1992年7-8月 子ども達のためのヤップ島プログラム第一回。以後毎年。 ＊1992年秋 在日外国人とともに、国内のエコツアー「とびっきり自然の旅」。以後毎年。尾瀬、朝日連峰、知床半島、屋久島、西表島、襟裳岬と大雪国立公園など。 ＊1993年11-12月 マダガスカル島にてサバイバルレース「レイド・ゴロワーズ」参加。 ＊1995年3-7月 国際チームで、北極海を犬ゾリとカヌースレッドで横断 ＊1995年12月から２年間 朝日新聞特集世界遺産シリーズ取材。ロシア、イラン、ドイツ、スイス、オランダ、オーストラリア、アメリカなど。 ＊1997、98年 ワールドスクールジャパンの冒険プロジェクトで、ミクロネシア連邦の珊瑚島へ。 ＊1998年2-4月 シベリア北東部のツンドラを約1,800Km、チュクチ人たちと犬ゾリでの旅。 ＊1998年8-9月 アメリカ合衆国政府より招聘。現地のNGO、NPOを視察研究。 ＊2000年 グリーンランド東部で環境変動に対する住民の観察・意識調査。 ＊2001年から2002年 アラスカの少数民族ユピックの村やカナダエスキモーの集落イグルーリックなどを舞台に調査活動。 ＊2009年British Schools Exploration Societyのリーダーとして、グリーンランド遠征に加わる。 ＊2010年 Wilderness Educational Expeditionsにて、12名の野外教育研究者らとカナダ北極のマラ・バーンサイド川をカヌーで下る
