Profile

Kazunori Hase received his B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Keio University in 1989, and his M. Sc. and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Keio University in 1991 and in 1997, respectively. He worked as a Researcher in the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology from 1997 to 2003, and also worked as an Associate Professor in Nagoya University from 2003 to 2009. In 2009, he joined Tokyo Metropolitan University, where he is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include rehabilitation engineering, biomechanics and robotics.
