Structure and function of the ventral lateral geniculate nucleus in the cat/Subdivided the small visual center by cytoarchitecture and connections. Functional consideration are provided based on the connections./Visual corticocortical connections between V2 and V4/TEO in the macaque monkey/The ventral stream connections were analyzed over cytochrome oxidase modules of V2./Connections between V3A-LIP-AIP and 3-D vision./Double tracing revealed the connections from V3A to LIP, and from LIP to AIP./Nitric oxide cycle in the brain/Distribution and correlation of nitric oxide cycle enzymes were established./Top-down regulation of sensory inputs/Emotional regulation ofbite: a ditect projection from Amygdala to the mesencephalic trigeminal nucleus ./A direct projeciton from the locus coeruleus to the mesencephalic trigeminal nucleus: emotion regulates biting.
