"Even if I should die, freedom wouldn't die." This well-known remarks of Taisuke Itagaki, who was one of the most outstanding leaders of the Freedom and Human Rights Movement in the Meiji Era, was heard when he was attacked by a terrorist in 1882.That remarks was found in the confidential report written by the policeman working in that situation.
