石井 啓之

Hiroshi Ishii received B.E. and M.E. degrees in communication engineering from Osaka University in 1977 and 1979, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in engineering from University of Tsukuba in 2001. From 1979 to 2003, he worked at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) Laboratories. In NTT, he was engaged in data network planning, several standardization works on ISDN user-network interface protocols in CCITT (ITU-T) and distributed networking architecture in OMG and TINA-C, and R&D on ATM switching systems, and managed IP networking systems. He joined Tokai University in 2003 and was a professor of Professional Graduate School, Tokai University and also a chief professor of Department of Communication and Network Engineering, School of Information and Telecommunication Engineering, Tokai University. He was Dean of Graduate School of  Information and Telecommunication Engineering, Tokai University from 2017-2019. He retired from Tokai University in 2021 and now a Professor Emeritus of Tokai University. Dr. Ishii received IEICE Information Network Technical Committee Award, PDPTA07 Ten Best Paper Award, Matsumae Shigeyoshi Award (Academic), and WORLDCOMP'10 Outstanding Achievement Award, WORLDCOMP'11 Best Paper Award, IEICE Communication Society Best Paper Award, and Worldcomp Achievement Award in 2003, 2007, 2010, also 2010, 2014 and also 2014, respectively. He is a Life member of Senior member of IEEE.
