In order to study the detailed structure of the soft component in multiparticle production, an emulsion chamber was exposed to 360-GeV/c - beams at CERN, and an exclusive analysis was performed for each interaction. The mutual correlations between the mean value of pseudorapidity, the standard deviation from the mean value, the rapidity density, and the multiplicity in each interaction event were obtained. © 1992 The American Physical Society.
