This paper is intended as an investigation of the effective ways to help new students develop their knowledge acquired at their junior high schools and to give better support for their understanding in learning and studying at Suzuka College of Technology. It is possible for us to allow entering new students with different level of academic ability from that of upper graders because students in every junior high school have been learning their subjects according to new government course guidelines since April 2002. We made some of their acquired ability clear with examinations, compare the data with those of past four years and try to give the best introduction to each subject for new students in learning at the first college lives.
