Line-emission cross sections of the charge-exchange reaction between fully stripped carbon and atomic hydrogen are measured in the energy range 18-38 keV/amu in tokamak plasmas. The energy dependence of the emission cross sections for the transitions DELTA-n=8-7 and DELTA-n=7-6 and their ratios are compared with theoretical calculations.
