Early age concrete which is called alternatively as transient concrete, undergoes quite rapid material change and induces varieties of initial strain problems. Toward rational treatment of the problem, visco-elastic and visco-plastic modeling is constructed by the theoretical consideration as well as experiments. For the simple Drucker-Prager material, the model parameters are identified. Using those parameters, some numerical examples are shown which indicate the effectiveness of the modeling for numerical analysis of transient materials.
